Many substances can lead to addiction. You are likely aware that opioid products, such as heroin, OxyContin or hydrocodone, can lead to addiction. Alcohol presents the greatest addiction challenge to the world. People generally recognize the addictive properties of nicotine from smoking cigarettes. Chocolate and sugar can be addictive.

Yet few people recognize the addictive power of caffeine. More and more young people are pushing their bodies to unhealthy limits using caffeine as a stimulant. More recently, there has been a growing trend of mixing alcohol with caffeinated beverages. Alcohol is a depressant. People relax and can feel sleepy after a couple drinks. They are now using caffeinated products, such as Red Bull, to counter the "down" from alcohol. The results can be deadly!

RED BULL May Lead to Slow Death

Clear Heath wants you to know both France and Denmark have banned Red Bull from the country. Clear Heath recommends you Do NOT consume this "energy" drink anymore! Please read the information below. In addition scientists at the University of Pacific found that the average QT interval — the time it takes for the heart's electrical wave to reset before the next beat — was 10 milliseconds longer for those who had consumed energy drinks than for those who had not. A 30 millisecond increase suggests a serious heart concern to doctors.

The researchers also found that the systolic blood pressure, the top number in the reading, increased an average of 3.5 points in participants who had consumed energy drinks. The FDA has now reported five deaths linked to Monster Energy and 13 deaths possiblly linked to 5-Hour Energy. There is NO regulation of these products! [1]

Red Bull

Energy drinks like Red Bull, Moster and 5-Hour are sold in most supermarkets in the United States and our children are consuming it regularly. These products can be fatal. RED BULL was created to stimulate the brains in people who are subjected to great physical force and in stress coma and never to be consumed like an innocent drink or soda pop. RED BULL is the energizer drink that is commercialized world-wide with its slogan:
"It increases endurance, awakens the concentration capacity and the speed of reaction, offers more energy and improves the mood. All this can be found in a can of RED BULL, the power drink of the millennium."
RED BULL has managed to arrive in almost 100 countries worldwide. The RED BULL logo is targeted at young people and sportsmen, two attractive segments that have been captivated by the stimulus that the drink provides.

It was created by Dietrich Mateschitz, an industrialist of Austrian origin who discovered the drink by chance. It happened during a business trip to Hong Kong, when he was working at a factory that manufactured toothbrushes. The liquid, based on a formula that contained caffeine and taurine, caused a rage in that country. Imagine the grand success of this drink in Europe where the product still did not exist, besides it was a superb opportunity to become an entrepreneur.

THE TRUTH ABOUT THIS DRINK IS ANOTHER THING

Red BullFRANCE and DENMARK have now prohibited it as a cocktail of death, due to its vitamin components mixed with GLUCURONOLACTONE — a highly-dangerous chemical, which was developed by the United States Department of Defense during the sixties to stimulate the moral of the troops based in VIETNAM, which acted like a hallucinogenic drug that calmed the stress of the war.

But their effects in the organism were so devastating, that it was discontinued, because of the high index of cases of migraines, cerebral tumors and diseases of the liver that was evident in the soldiers who consumed it. And in spite of it, in the can of RED BULL you can still find as one of its components: GLUCURONOLACTONE, categorized medically as a stimulant. But what it does not say on the can of RED BULL are the consequences of its consumption, and that has forced a series of WARNINGS.
1. It is dangerous to take it if you do not engage in physical exercise afterwards, since its energizing function accelerates the heart rate and can cause a sudden attack.

2. You run the risk of undergoing a cerebral hemorrhage, because RED BULL contains components that dilute the blood so that the heart utilizes less energy to pump the blood, and thus be able to deliver physical force with less effort being exerted.

3. It is prohibited to mix RED BULL with alcohol, because the mixture turns the drink into a " Deadly Bomb " that attacks the liver directly, causing the affected area never to regenerate anymore.

4. One of the main components of RED BULL is the B12 vitamin, used in medicine to recover patients who are in a coma ; from here the hypertension and the state of excitement which is experienced after taking it, as if you were in a drunken state.

5. The regular consumption of RED BULL triggers off symptoms in the form of a series of irreversible nervous and neuronal diseases.
CONCLUSION
It is a drink that should be prohibited in the entire world as when it is mixed with alcohol it creates a TIME BOMB for the human body, mainly between innocent adolescents and adults with little experience.

Save Your Money!
Although many people pay more than a third extra for organic food due to their belief that these food have more nutritional value than food grown with pesticides and chemicals, research by Dr Susanne Bugel and colleagues from the Department of Human Nutrition, University of Copenhagen, shows there is no clear evidence to support this.

This new research, published in the latest issue of the Society of Chemical Industry's (SCI) Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, suggests that organic foods ARE NOT healthier than food grown with the use of pesticides and chemicals. Save your money. Buy locally where possible, but don't go overboard on expensive organic foods.
We Eat What We See
Professor Brian Wansink believes it is nearly impossible for us to ignore the clarion call of the candy jar, the beckoning of the buffet or the summons of the snack cupboard.

The Cornell Food and Brand Lab researcher says, "We believe we have all the free will in the world. We believe we overeat if the food is good or if we're really hungry. In reality, those are two of the last things that determine how much we eat. Visibility and convenience are what really influences our eating."

"Something that's very visible, every time we see it we have to make a decision. Do I want to eat that? Do I not want to eat that? Do I want that candy on my desk, or do I not want it? We can say no 27 times, but if it's visible, the 28th or 29th time, we start saying, 'Maybe.' By time 30, 31, we start saying, 'What the heck? I'm hungry,' " Wansink reports.

Will eating a calorie of fat make you fatter than eating a calorie of carbohydrate?
Studies show that a fat calorie causes the same weight gain as a carbohydrate calorie. Long-term studies where people randomly ate a high-fat/low-carb diet or low-fat/high-carb diet have shown that based on what you put into your mouth, the source of the calories is really not important.

On the other hand, people who eat more trans fat seem to gain more weight, even when the total calories are the same. And, trans fat is particularly harmful with regard to type 2 diabetes and heart disease.

In addition, high intake of refined starch and sugar is related to a higher risk of heart disease and diabetes, whereas high-fiber whole-grain carbohydrates are related to a lower risk.

You'll eat more if you're eating:
  • "family style" with the serving bowls on the table.
  • directly from the bag or carton.
  • on a bigger plate or from a bigger container.
  • in front of the television, in the car, with friends.
"When it comes down to it, we're efficient people. We want something that's convenient. And if it's fruit or vegetables that's a whole lot more convenient than that cake that's wrapped up in the freezer, guess what's for snack today? Fruits and vegetables."
